I have a HP G62-b28SA laptop with an AMD processor. Will it run OS X?
- If you are concerned about legalities then you definitely can't install Mac OS X on your windows laptop. If you badly wan't to use Mac OS X the best was is to just buy a Mac.
- Yes you can it would just be a windows computer with a mac osx operating system
- You can't legally install 10.8 on your computer. Mac OS X frequently phones home with your computer information.
- u can just try hackintosh but i cant say wethere it will run or not just once give an try
- No,you can't.Mac OS are made for Intel based processors and most of the softwares run requires Intel architecture.
- mac on amd processor is not possible i guess
it can be installed on non macs which have similar config to macs
and macs with amd dont comes still u can give it a try
cpu support is not the problem but the amd chips in ur main bord may cause problms

http://www.macbreaker.com/2012/01/look-at-state-of-amd-hackintoshing.html - yes you can install mac on your laptop. before install make sure that your system should fulfill the minimum requirement of mac
- And how would he find out whether his system fulfills the minimum requirements? Do you have any helpful resources that you can link to? Have you done this yourself and do you have any advice?
- Usually, you can start from the disc by putting it in your computer, restarting, and holding the C key. Or, put it in the computer and click the Install or Restore icon you see in the disc's main window (after which the computer will start from the disc without you needing to hold C).Mac OS X v10.4 tip: If your computer ejects the Mac OS X v10.4 Install DVD, your Mac probably doesn't have an Apple internal DVD drive or Apple SuperDrive, in which case you'll need Mac OS X v10.4 Install CDs.Troubleshooting tip: If the computer doesn't start from the disc—you never see the option to choose a language, for example—then see Your Mac won't start up in Mac OS X for troubleshooting tips.Computer checkThe Mac OS X Installer makes sure your computer can use the version of Mac OS X you're trying to install.Troubleshooting tip: If you see a message that you cannot install Mac OS X on this computer, even though it should work with Mac OS X, you may need to install a firmware update. Restart your computer from the hard drive and install the latest firmware available for your computer.
Source disc checkDuring this helpful step, Installer takes a few moments to check the source disc itself before starting the installation process. If you see a message about a 'failed checksum,' then there may be an issue with your optical disc or optical driveNote: During this step, you may see a 'Skip' button in the Installer window. If you haven't used your Install disc before (or recently), you should not skip this step.Troubleshooting tipsIs the disc clean? Make sure the disc is clean and without significant smudges or deep scratches. If your disc is unusable, call AppleCare support for assistance.
Is this this original optical drive? If you have issues, make sure you're using the original Apple optical drive that was included with your computer (CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, CD-RW, Combo drive or Super Drive). Can you isolate the issue to a single computer? If you have access to a computer with a spare hard disk or partition that can be erased, then you may test the installation disc with it. After the test installation is complete, the test disk or partition should be erased if you are only licensed to install the software on one computer.Destination disk checkBefore the actual installation begins, the installer checks the selected volume to ensure the integrity of the disk. If the disk check finds issues that it cannot repair, the installation will not start. You must resolve such hard disk issues before you can install. If you have a third-party disk utility that's compatible with your version of Mac OS X, you can try that. If no utility can correct the issue, you must back up your important files, then perform an erase install. - 1) MakeUseOf has an article on this:

http://www.howtogeek.com/114850/how-to-install-mac-os-x-lion-on-your-hp-probook-or-compatible-laptop/ - The question was whether or not it was possible to install OSX on an HP laptop. Whether or not it is illegal is irrelevant. HP laptops are notoriously difficult to Hackintosh because HP locks their bootloader, thus preventing you from changing key configurations that would make it hackable. While it is technically possible, it is not easy. iAtkos may be a good route to try for a novice. You would need to torrent it, so be weary of it. Torrents such as these are illegal and you may get tracked. Ultimately, you should check out insanelymac.com for more information about the Hackintosh possibilities across all brands of computers.
- Hi
Basically you cant, because Apple doesn't like what it cant control. As someone said before me you can install Hackintosh. Or you could modify your computer,(the looks) to look like an Apple product. - If you install Mac OS X on anything other than Apple branded hardware, you are violating the software's terms of use. If you want to run OS X, the best way is to go to your local Apple Store and buy a Mac.
- Google about the iATKOS project. That is the most simple way of creating a Hackintosh. I did one myself last year.
